Old Cove Press is a small literary press based in Lexington, Kentucky. Founded in 1999 by Nyoka Hawkins and Gurney Norman, Old Cove focuses on poetry, fiction, and art from Kentucky and its surrounding region.
 
Old Cove currently offers two titles by Kentucky poet Frank X Walker, recipient of the 2005 Lannan Literary Fellowship for Poetry (http://www.lannan.org/): Affrilachia (2000), Walker's groundbreaking first book of poetry, now in its fourth printing; and Walker's latest collection, Black Box (2006). Black Box continues the personal and autobiographical journey of Affrilachia with sixty eight new poems from Walker, written over the last six years.
